The company Imprintec - Material Testing Solutions is active in the field of mechanical material testing and offers innovative strength and hardness testing equipment for quality assurance and optimization. The focus is on the indentation method according to DIN SPEC 4864, which is a combination of mechanical and optical testing. Further hardness testing methods complete the range with regard to the precise testing of specimens and components. 

Furthermore, Imprintec sees itself as a service provider for tests according to the indentation method and standard-compliant hardness tests. With the help of these tests, we carry out, among other things, damage analyses, component tests and evaluations and weld seam tests on large and small components up to layers.



Research work in indentation on the nano and micro scale was successful and laid the foundation for the development of a new testing technique. 



A patent application of the new methodology as a method for materials testing was carried out. The method is now protected under the German patent DE102011115519A1.



Foundation of the company

The company Imprintec - Material Testing Solutions was founded. Initially, various services are offered in the field of materials testing.


Completion i3D Test

Completion of the testing machine i3DTest to perform the indentation test and conventional hardness test (Rockwell).


First testing machines are in use at the customer

Product launch i3D R / BVR

The i3D R / BVR series combines conventional hardness testing (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers) and the indentation method. They are therefore extended universal testing machines.
