i3D R/BVR
Testing device for mechanical characteristic values, flow curves and hardness values (Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell)

Yield strength, tensile strength, yield curves and conventional hardness values (Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell) in one device
The innovative i3D R/BVR hardness and strength testing machine combines classic hardness testing and the indentation method. You receive within a short testing time:
- Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell hardness
- Flow curve
- Yield strengthRIp0.2
- Tensile strength RIm
- Hardness valueHI (also for uneven surfaces)
- Anisotropy (qualitative)

Indentation process and hardness test
The classic Rockwell, Brinell or Vickers hardness testing methods according to standard are also standard. Two machine types are offered:
- Machine i3D R: Indentation process + Rockwell
- Machine i3D BVR: Indentation method + Rockwell + Brinell + Vickers
Machine variant R or BVR
- i3D R
- i3D BVR
i3D R - Impression method + Rockwell
The innovative i3D R hardness tester combines proven testing technology and new findings from materials testing in one machine.

Impression method - DIN SPEC 4864

Rockwell - DIN EN ISO 6508 ASTM D 785 ASTM E 18
HRA - HRB - HRC
i3D BVR - Indentation method + Rockwell + Vickers + Brinell
In addition to the indentation method for determining strength values, all common hardness testing methods can also be carried out with the highest accuracy in accordance with the standard.
